Over the last few months I have focused on developing my media skills to go beyond it's traditional forms of writing and videography and expand into the fields of: text-videos, infographics as well as social media campaigns. Below are just a few of the examples of how further development into these multimedia forms of storytelling.
Social Media Campaign
Topic: Campaign for International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ)
For a School assignment, I was asked to create a mock social media campaign that would focus on improving the social media presence of a social or political justice organization. I chose to map out a campaign for ICIJ: an organization that helps investigative journalists all over the world. For this campaign I mapped out objectives, developed a calendar posts, produced mock Facebook and Twitter posts as well as analyzing other social media campaigns

Topic: Resegregation of American schools
This infographic examines how segregation in public schools across America has not changed, in fact it has gotten worse. The graphic was created using Adobe Illustrator in conjunction with Adobe Photoshop.
