Bio
Multi-Platform Storyteller
I am an aspiring Journalist who graduated from George Washington University, majoring in Political Communication and minoring in Economics in May of 2019. My goal is to continue to explore new forms of multimedia, to create pieces that go beyond the short form version of a story, and to create context and develop ideas that not only inform but stimulate thinking beyond the preconceived conceptions of an idea.
I am interested in stories that combine politics and economics, from the local to the international level, and explore how new media techniques influence political and media development. Identifying and understanding the role of key players and influencers in the political sphere will also be a focus of mine.
My work experience spans both sides of the political and media realms. I worked as a congressional intern for Congressman Eliot Engel(NY-16) during the 2016 Election cycle, and in the Fall of 2017 I was a production intern on MSNBC’s Hardball, with Chris Matthews. During the 2018 Midterms I was an production intern at CNN with The Lead with Jake Tapper. And in the Spring of 2019 I was a member of both the Justice and Transportation units at ABC News in DC.
My work has been featured on ABCNews.com, Law Street Media, The GW Hatchet and The Local Live.
I grew up in Westchester NY and am an avid soccer player, youth referee and fan of Manchester United. In my spare I time I enjoy travelling in search of the best slice of pizza outside of New York.
